It’s time to sign up for daycamp! Our theme this year is “SHIPWRECKED: Rescued by Jesus. We will learn that no matter what, Jesus rescues! Whether we’re lonely, or have worries, or are struggling, or if we do wrong, or if we feel powerless, in all of these things, Jesus rescues!
Our summer daycamp will take place Monday through Friday, July 9 – 13, 2017. The camp is for children who will be 4-years old by July, through incoming sixth grade in the fall. Each day we will begin at 12:00 p.m. with lunch, followed by Bible activities, crafts and projects, recreation and more! The camp will be staffed by youth counselors, seventh grade and up, and a team of adults.
Daycamp Counselor Training will be held Sunday, July 8th, and is required of all youth counselors. The cost will be $50 for the first child in a family, and $45 for each additional child, which includes a daycamp t-shirt, lunch for all five days, and arts and crafts supplies. Scholarship help is available.
On Saturday, July 14th, we will be having a rehearsal at 9:30 a.m. to
get us ready for worship the next day. Following the rehearsal, we will have our annual barbecue and swim party at Cull Canyon Regional Park! Daycamp brochures are available in the narthex, fellowship
hall or the office. We hope you’ll plan to join us! Be sure to come to worship on July 15th for the special daycamp presentation.
